Your Role
In this role, you are motivated to take on a new challenge, acquire new knowledge, and actively collaborate with your colleagues. You have always had a flair for sales and are committed to providing the customer with the most suitable advice.

Customer-Oriented Sales
As an Internal Sales Consultant, you are the first direct point of contact with the customer following their inquiry. You are relational and ensure that the washing or drying system being assembled is the best solution for the customer. Unikon’s products are mainly custom-made, and every industrial washing machine is developed and built by Unikon from construction to control technology.

You are curious, flexible, and solution-oriented. Therefore, you know how to ask the right questions, even if you are not necessarily technically proficient. You inquire about the customer’s production process and specific requirements. By listening and probing effectively, you understand the true customer needs and grasp the processes at the customer’s end.

Because you conduct such a thorough assessment, you brainstorm with your technical colleagues to devise the best solution for this customer and situation. You are creative and collaborative, driven to find the most optimal solution for the customer! You present this solution via Teams or in-person meetings with the customer. Tools such as 3D models and videos of similar machines are at your disposal. Through the strong rapport you’ve built with the customer and because the advice seamlessly aligns with their needs, you gain their trust and secure the contract.

You then hand over the project to the business bureau and engineering teams, who further develop the project. Throughout the entire quotation process, you are the point of contact for the customer.

You work within a team with a wealth of technical knowledge. You quickly discern from whom to gather specific information and when to involve colleagues in the process.

Market Development
Unikon sees many opportunities in the sustainability market. You have the chance to contribute to developing and expanding this market if it aligns with your interests.

Communication with customers occurs via phone, email, Teams, office meetings, and occasionally international travel for client visits or presentations. There is potential to progressively undertake more client visits in the future, depending partly on your own desires and ambitions. Communication with clients is primarily in English. You collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and partners both domestically and internationally.
